Olive Green Eye Makeup For An Ultra Glamorous Look

Hi Guys,

If you find yourself in the midst of a party season and wish to make a statement with your eyes, opt for a look like this.

In this tutorial, I have gone olive green on the eyes and nude on the lips. This look comes out really well on those with neutral and warm skin tones, as the harmony of olive with those skin colours is much better.

You can create many versions of this look by adding a smokey twist or sporting bold lips if you are up for it.

Here's the final makeup look

Since the eye makeup is going to be heavy, I will apply some primer on her eyes. Next I am going to outline her crease with a light shade for some definition and then apply some nude powder across her eyelids for a base and to absorb off any excess oil.

I apply a cream eyeshadow on her eyes as I want more colour pay off in this look. Once the cream eyeshadow settles in a minute or two, I take some of the powdered eyeshadow in olive green and gently pat the colour across her eyelids.

I blend out everything at each stage to steer clear of harsh lines.

I take a very light coloured eyeshadow (you can take a white) and highlight her brow bone area.

Some shimmer looks really cool, so I am going to amp up the look with some silver in the inner corners of her eyes.

Finally I take some charcoal black and with my finger tips apply on the outer V of her eyes and blend the shade inwards. I finish off this look with an eyeliner and a kohl pencil.

Make it a point to groom your eyebrows and curl up your lashes.

Since the look is heavy on the eyes, I have gone easy on her lips. I have used a very nude shade of lipstick. However if you feel like it, you can always opt for bolder colours.
In this look, I have added some shimmer on her lips which is quite a thing these days.

If you want more edginess, do contour your cheekbones and your nose. In this look I have also used a cream blush for a fresh and a healthy glow, followed with strong highlights from cheeks to the temple.
