A Day Outdoors with Marks & Spencer
I love the easy-to-wear refreshing feel of jeggings. Let the debate amongst fashionistas around the world continue, I am in love with these comfortable & versatible piece of clothing in my wardrobe.
In fact, 2016 has been a year for changes for me. From changing what I do for a living, diet choices, the color palette of my wardrobe...everything has been attraceting major & minor changes but I am going with the flow :)
From being a "bring me the brightest shade of red in the house" kind of girl to someone who enjoys elegant simplicity in soft tonal shades, its been an interesting ride.
For a recent trip outdoors, I decided to wear something very different this time. One day, strolling thorugh the aisles of Marks & Spencer, I instinctively picked up a pair of jeggings in soft grey tones. The color was soothing to the eye & a million ways to style them popped in my head.
I tried them a bit hesitantly first (told you...I am a bright red kind of a girl) but was extremely happy with the way they fitted. I picked up two basic tops in solid black & yellow colors and marched out of the store..... of course I paid before doing so :) :) and packed them alongwith essentials & off I went to the mystic backwaters of Kerala.
Rested & rejuvenated on the second day of my trip, I woke up & decided to wear my stylish new buys. I came up with two looks- both accentuanted & streamlined my silhoutte and offered stylish comfort for an all day wear. In fact they fitted so well, they became like second skin!
For the first look, I paired my grey ultra- flaterring jeggings with a solid black top, a necklace picked up from Indonesia & red shoes from Tresmode.
My Calvin Klein watch was a perfect accessory to keep track of time that I often lose while taking pictures :D
I alternated the look with a black suede hat since the outdoor sun was smiling down brightly.
Soon, I wanted to try my yellow solid color top from Marks & Spencer as well & why wait for good things?
I paired the yellow top with a white lace shirt to add a layer & a straw colored hat to complete the look.
Crafted from soft material, the Marks & Spencer jeggings were ultra comfortable as I moved around the fabulous Vivanta by Taj resort located at Bekal & did some fun things.
Let me know what you think about this look.
