Quick & Easy Diwali Make Up Look For This Festive Season

So its that part of the year when happiness and excitement are in the air - Yes, its Diwali time.

For this festive and colourful occasion, I have created this simple make up look which will go well with ethnic / traditional outfits.

I have done my complexion first with a foundation. I am used MAC Studio Fix in NC 25 followed with L'Oreal Paris's True Match Concealer on my under eyes.

I want the eyeshadow colour to really pop, so I have applied a a cream eyeshadow as a base on my eyelids. I then move on to a matte brown and sweep it along the natural outline of the eye crease.

By now the cream eyeshadow on the eyelids has settled, so I move on to apply the main eyeshadow colour. It is a muted, frosted pink. The tint in the colour seems perfect for this festive season.

I blend out everything with a brush and then apply a highlighting shade on my brow bone.

I have done a winged eyeliner and applied generous amount of kohl on the waterline. In order to match the colour of my outfit (which is Royal Blue in this look), I have applied a blue liner below the waterline and intensified it.

I have applied some blush for a healthy glow

For the lipstick, I have used the shade - Chic by MAC Cosmetics. It is a lovely shade of pink.

Highlighters are a rage these days. They got to be on, on a day when you party. I have used a liquid highlighter by The Body Shop.

Finally I have finished the look with a setting spray at the end to set my makeup.
